Vast corn fields, invention of sliced bread and Eskimo pie, may come to mind when you think of Iowa, but that’s just some of the things this little state is known for. Iowa is also known to have some of the most spectacular views in the US, and was named one of the top states with affordable living and one of the best states to raise a family. Ames, Iowa was even named among the top 10 places to live in US, by TIMEs magazine. In addition to that, Iowa is famed as the home to the most crooked street on the planet, i.e the Snake Alley. This rather windy road has many sharp turns and angles that it’s only a one way road.
When visiting Iowa, you should consider spending some quality time checking out the National Balloon Museum located in Indianola. The museum covers more than 200 years of ballooning history, and it’s a great vacationing site for all visitors. Iowa tourists can also check out the raging rivers, i.e the Missouri River and the Mississippi River.
Iowa Vape Laws
In Iowa, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to purchase vape pens or e-cigs. Iowa vape law applies to any non-combustible device that may contain nicotine and employs some sort of heating element, electronic circuit, power source, or other mechanical, electronic and chemical means, which can be used to simulate or produce vapor from a solution or such other substance.
Iowa vape regulations also prohibit the use of e-cigarettes in businesses, state operated buildings, public buildings and the surrounding areas, only exempting privately owned properties within the Capitol Complex. That said, it should be noted that some local ordinances may regulate vaping differently from the state. For example, there is a complete indoor vape ban in localities like Ames, North Liberty, Coralville and Iowa City.
