Maine Vaping Laws
Speaking of laws, you should known that Maine is known as ‘The Birthplace of Prohibition.’ Maine was actually the 1st state to ban the manufacture and sale of alcoholic drinks in the year 1851 (though this ban was repealed 5 years later). That said, lets now take look at Maine’s vape regulations;
Well, Maine has a statewide vaping ban which became effective in October of the year 2015. The law states that vaping is prohibited in all the smoke free areas, which includes; childcare facilities, restaurants, bars, workplaces, in cars with minors, state parks, historic sites and beaches. However, some localities may regulate vaping differently than the state. Maine further defines the vape laws as applicable to any form of device that contains or delivers nicotine or such other substances intended for human consumption, that employs a heating element, electronic circuit, power source, or other electronic, mechanical or chemical means, and that can be used to produce/simulate smoking via vapor inhalation from the device.
