Lake Champlain which borders with Canada is a wonderful place to relax and swim as it has many beaches. In 1791, Vermont became the 14th state of America. Before that, Vermont was an independent country called the Vermont Republic. The state capital of Vermont is Montpellier which has a population fewer than nine thousand people. This makes it the smallest state capital in the country.
The state defines e-cigarettes as tobacco substitutes which include battery-powered or electronic devices that deliver nicotine into the body via vapor inhalation. Vermont is renowned for passing vaping laws by state, including local policies that protect third parties from second-hand smoke. Vaping regulations restrict the use of e-cigarettes in public areas and workplaces, with a few exemptions. Vermont’s smoke-free laws extend secondhand protections on school grounds, in childcare settings, motor vehicles, and workplaces. The Clean Indoor Air and Act 108 restricts the use of e-cigarettes/ other vaping devices in places where tobacco smoking is prohibited. The vaping laws help to protect Vermonters from exposure to e-cigarette secondhand smoke. The vape bans in Vermont is statewide. With effect from January 1, 2017, the state prohibits vaping in all public areas where traditional tobacco smoking is banned. The state of Vermont prohibits sale/ distribution of e-cigarettes and other vaping devices to persons under the age of 18 years. Additionally, possession/ purchase of tobacco substitutes such as e-cigarettes is prohibited to persons under the age of 18 years. To date, no counties or cities have passed into law ordinances that restrict vape usage. However, signage posted at prohibited areas restrict vaping of e-cigarettes and must be adhered to by all vapers.
